Because we know you'd rather be streaming than reading legalese.

đź“‚ Your Data (The "Privacy" Bit)

Who owns it? You do. We only "borrow" it to make your dashboard work.

What do we keep? Just the basics—your email, your preferences and your api keys if saved.

Overlays & Playlists: Anything you create in the MTL OverlayForge is yours, but you are responsible for ensuring your overlays don't violate the copyright or community guidelines of the platform you're streaming to. Saved Playlists & Saved Overlays are saved to your local device.

Do we sell it? No. Never. We aren't in the business of selling data.

Google & YouTube: We use the YouTube API to show video titles. You can "unplug" MultiTube from your Google account at any time via your Google Security settings.

Telemetry: This is OFF by default. If you turn it on, it just helps sync your players. This data is "ephemeral"—it vanishes 60 seconds after you close the tab.

🛠️ Your 2026 Rights

Under the latest UK laws, you have total control. You can:

  1. Request a copy of every bit of data we have on you.
  2. Delete everything instantly via your Dashboard.
  3. Complain to us at legal@multitube.live if something feels wrong—we promise to get back to you within 30 days.

API Data: If you sign in via Google, we access your Google ID and basic profile info via YouTube API Services.

Configuration: We store your saved preferences and API tokens for YouTube, Twitch, or Kick.

MultiTube.Live uses API services from YouTube, Twitch, and Kick to enable multi-stream functionality, retrieve video titles, and power our search feature for videos & live streams.

Telemetry: Ephemeral data is pruned after 60 seconds of inactivity.

Account Data: Persisted until you request deletion.

6. Your Rights & The Right to Complain

Under the UK Data (Use and Access) Act 2025, you have the right to access, rectify, or erase your data.

You have a formal Right to Complain directly to us. We will acknowledge complaints within 30 days. You may also lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).

We use Google Analytics for anonymous metrics. By using the site, you consent to essential session cookies. We do not sell your data to third parties.
